​RSI Carolina specializes in all types of Air Conditioning repair, service and installation for the Upstate of South Carolina. Our service area includes but not limited to: Greenville, Greer, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Anderson, Spartanburg, Taylors, Landrum, Gaffney and Clemson. 

Refrigeration Services Inc was founded in 1995 by Greg Ballenger in Greenville, South Carolina. 

For many years Mr. Ballenger was an employee of a local supermarket chain in charge of all the air conditioning and refrigeration service. There he learned that experienced technicians, proper maintenance, quality equipment, and installation save money and energy.

When the opportunity presented itself to start his own refrigeration company, he and two other technicians started the company with only a few accounts. Over the years the customer base has grown as well as the services offered. Refrigeration Services, Inc. has grown from three employees to having over 40 employees, including Greg's two sons. The reason for our growth is excellent customer service and quality workmanship.

Our president, Greg Ballenger also teaches Commercial Refrigeration courses at Greenville Technical College where he has the opportunity to serve the community and train students to become great Refrigeration and HVAC Technicians. Many of the students Mr. Ballenger instructed have become full time employees at Refrigeration Services, Inc. Being an instructor allows Greg to hand pick the best and brightest students to be his employees.
